Im Skinny... Call me Beautiful!

Okay so i was doing my daily web surfing that i do routinely and I came across this picture on style and the first word that came to my mind was DISGUSTING! I mean how skinny are these girls gonna get before we say enough is enough... I mean you can tell this is not the size they are suppose to be because their head clearly doesnt fit their body. I mean here you have Rachel Zoe's big ass head that looks like it belongs on a size 8 body rather than her skeleton like size double zero body. Nicole Richie's body has always been ridiculous ever since they stop taping the Simple Life. I mean how can you look in the mirror and think that being able to see your chest bones is sexy. These girls need to run to a cheeseburger quicker than they run to a toilet after a meal, because clearly this is not beautiful. We need to see more Beyonces more Selma Hayeks more people whose hips and waiste are not the same size of a 3 year old. Oh well what do i know im no where near a size zero and im nothing close to a celebrity maybe im just jealous or maybe im just speaking the truth... Oh well until later have a great umbrella dream

A Peak In the Pit of the Walk-In

Well I was in the process of going through my closet for a fundraiser that March of Dimes is having were we donate clothes and I realized that I have A LOT of crap!!!! I counted all of my shoes and im at 89 pairs (including my wall of flip flops) which I feel is so ridiculous. But i was hoping that if i was to take a picture of this abundance it will help motivate me to donate half of them. Well I can tell you know that it didnt work, I dont know what it is as americans that keeps us so attached to our mterial things. I mean I have a floor full of shoes i hardly wear, a rack full of tops that have tags on them and boxes full of crafts that are collecting dust. I hope that writing this blog will one day give me clarity to release my self from the possessions that clutter my life. Oh and by the way... yes i color code my closet....

My wall of flip flops and my rack of shirts that must be in order by color.

This shelf is reserved for heels 4 inches and higher and part of my floor of shoes... and yes my floor is dirty (fridays are my vacuum days)

Those boxes hold my arts and crafts... You can buy them at michaels... And my stack of close toe patent leather pumps.

Well Gluttony here I AM! Have Mercy....

My Carnival Legend Cruise (Random Boat Stuff)

Casino: I won 75 dollars on the slots and I won 200 dollars playing roulette, but then i lost 450 dollars being greedy so all in all the casino got about 150 dollars of mine.... DOH! But it is okay because I had a blast playing for seven days so it was worth it. Everytime I won in roulette there was this beautiful peru dealer who was soooo sweet and funny, her name was Josetti and we could not leave the ship without taking a picture with her...

On the Boat: The staff was great and very accomidating....the drinks were amazing!!! Our room was great, we had a extended balcony (and i will never cruise without a balcony ever again). Although there wasnt many people our age we found some college students who we played beer pong with and clubbed with lter that night. Me and my cousins entered about every trivia contest and tournament the boat offered. But overall we had a great time. We won a few of the plastic ship thingys but i think we ended up throwing them away. Here i leave you with some miscillaneous pictures from the cruise...

My Carnival Legend Cruise (Belize & Honduras)

Belize: Dont Get Off the Boat... or out of the Gates! Worst stop ever.... Carnival really needs to consider taking this port off of the list. It is truly a poor nasty country, the people are rude if you dont let them braid your hair or if you dont buy their crappy jewelry. They have a gate around the port where they set up some overpriced vendors for you to shop at, and they put a sign up saying leave out the gates at your own risk. All in all we left the port early so me and my cousins can go to the mini golf tournament back on the ship. Sidenote: The sell so many bad knock off purses here its ridiculous...

Roatan, Honduras: One of the best stops thus far, the shopping was good, the homes by the beach were BEAUTIFUL and the beaches was amazing! Although coming off the boat, the tour guides were so aggresive that we almost turned around to get back on the boat, but we decided to go on a tour with a guy whos name I cant remember and it was surprisingly nice. He took us around the whole island and the culture there is so amazing. They are building some new homes and condos there that makes me want to pack up and move there right now. Tabayanna Beach was absolutely beautiful, with white sand and crystal clear water we ordered margaritas and had a very nice time there. Our tour guide also took us to the iguana farm which scared me half to death, i mean literally the iguanas would walk all around you eww, next to the farm was a peir with nothing but barracodda and lobsters around it... that was truly interesting.

My Carnival Legend Cruise (Cayman Islands and Cozumel)

Cayman Islands: Our first stop was the cayman islands. It was a nice stop, but it was verrrry americanized. We went on an island tour by a local guy name Frenchie and he showed us some of the slums, and some of the very luxurious parts, and the beautiful blue beaches. But more importantly he took us to the tortuga rum factory, which is the home of the best rum cake!! The tour cost 100 bucks for everyone which was 12 people. All in all the caymans was a decent stop. It was nothing to special, the island had some good but overpriced conch fritters and I got to see a preview of hell (its what they call the black rocks there) muhahaha....

Cozumel: Well I've been to Cozumel before, so this port was no surprise. I always love this port and it is always consistent. Good, cheap shopping and beautiful beaches and weather. This time I went to cozumel I did something different, well we always go downtown and in the back neighborhoods to shop, but this time we ate at a local restaurant. I was soooo nervous I was gonna get sick, but the place was clean and cool and they had 3 for 1 margaritas, so we figured why not. But i must say, eating AUTHENTIC mexican food was not too shabby. The margaritas was delicious and strong and the food was no taco bell.  But anyways I bought a few scarfs a mexican blanket and some jewelry, but here are the pics from this stop:

My Carnival Legend Cruise (Food and Such)

Well I went on the Carnival Legend in November of 2008 and I have procrastinated posting about it for way too long.... I had a pretty good time of the cruise overall with some parts being way better than others. I went on the 7 day cruise with my mom, dad, two uncles, two aunts, my cousin Julia and my cousin Darius which was quite an experience because my uncles are a HOOT! Our port of calls were Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Belieze and Roatan-Honduras.. Here was the ruise in the eyes of a 21 year old...

FOOD: The food was soooooo good! I mean i am a cheeseburger and fries kind of girl so that is what i ate like 3 times a day.... ohhhhh how i crave a cheeseburger with mushrooms.... any ways... the dinner in the dining room was pretty good, not great but i give it a grade of a B+. But on lobster night i was sooo embaassed and amused because my uncle and cousin darius had 5 reorders of the lobster! I didnt even know that was possible. But our waiter was very friendly and very accomidating if we ever wanted another portion of anything.... Oh and by the way the Chocolate Melting Cake is not what it is cracked up to be.. it was waaayyy to chocalately :( anywho here are some pics of the food and dining:

By the way the last picture was suppose to be a "smoothie" but this is what they brought us :(
By the way thanks Julia for some of the pics.

One Week down 11 to go!

Well... i finished my first week of classes, and let me tell you I am already exhausted...
Here is a breakdown of my schedule

  • Calculus
  • Anal. Trigonometry
  • Physics I
  • Racquetball

Sooo I know your wondering racquetball? are you serious??? and the answer is yes!!! My physics class is gonna be the death of me, and my two math class are already complicated so I needed the chill down elective that would be an easy credit!!! But already I had three Physics assignments due and a big quiz this Thursday! I guess my professor does not believe in easssing in to the semester.

Well... on another note today is the last day of my internet deprived home. So now i can stop invading and taking over my local Panera Bread, Village Inn, and Library to use hours of their precious precious WI-FI.

Right now Im invading my schools library, where a awful smelling white boy is sitting next to me, hopefully he is being noisy and is reading the fact that he needs to take a loooong shower tonight. And I can feel this shady looking dude starring at me out the corner of my eye.

Well anyways I just wrote alot about nothing.... I feel like the Seinfield of blogs.... Hmmmm that should be the title of my next blog! But anyways I have a early day tomorrow so until later, Have a great Umbrella Dream!

So This Is 2009...

So wow this is 2009.... I mean where the hell did 2008 go and why did it run away so freaking fast. Well 2008 left me with a bunch of joy, a few disappointments and some questions that are still left unanswered. So I made a few resolutions some cliche and some optimistic, but none the less I made some goals and aspirations that will hopefully pane through...

  • Make Deans List... Or More A's than B's will suffice
  • Become much better at Make -Up artistry
  • Make female friends
  • Lose a good amount of weight
  • Think of the glass as half full instead of have empty (Bring Positive Energy)
  • Be more environmentally friendly
  • Find a damn man!
Well thats it, its a pretty realistic list beside the get a man part, because thats a bigger fairy tale than cinderella....Some of the resolutions are repeat offenders ::Cough:: Lose weight..... But hopefully 2009 is a year of change..

Right about now...
