Oh the Mail....

Well today I checked the mail and received some pretty interesting stuff... To start off I got chosen to fill out the nielsen tv survey, and as a thanks they gave me two dollars cash money, WOO to the freaking HOO!! Also in the mail I received my grandpas biweekly 50 bucks... He has been sending me 50 bucks every few weeks since freshman year which now that i have done the math that is 3600 dollars he has given me over my college career. But for the past couple of months the 50 bucks he sent me went straight to my spring break fund which is happening in 12 DAYS!!! Hooray Hooray... And the last thing that i got in the mail that wasnt a bill was my two books I ordered from amazon a month ago (which was the slowest service i have ever received from amazon) but they are two books about the holocaust which is probably in my top three genres to read about. I will probably read them both when im waiting in the airport during my SPRING BREAK woo hoo! Cant you tell im excited for this day to come... but anyways that about wraps up my day of mail... Now on to get some chinese food!

Its Freezing Balls....

So i have been really slow with the blogs lately because I have been absolutely positively sick and miserable... But even in my sickly state I still went out to support my roommate in the blistering cold for his intramural tennis match. Well I must say it was a very boring match... So boring that i cracked out my calculus book and started studying. The only interesting part was the fact that my roomates opponent was being picked on by hecklers... Well anyways Mario got knocked out in the first round with a 9-7 lost, Oh well better luck next semester.. Anywho here are the pictures from last night...

Can you tell which picture was the one after and before the lost???? But anyways the last two pictures were just ones i snapped to keep myself from falling asleep in the middle of the court!

Synopsis and Flamingos...

Well Well Well... I had to take a brief leave of absence.... I had a lot going on academically and honesty blogging was the lassssstttt thing in my mind... Well in the last 11 days a few things have happen such as My Favorite Little Cousin has turned 9, I finally got my HP back from best buy, My good swetter than sweet friend Karen passed away last night, and I got a 85 on my math test. So the past week and a half has been up and down but none the less i made it through with a smile on my face. Well since we are done with the summary of my last week or so on to the Flamingo Dinner i attended. The flamingo dinner was hosted and aspired by my friend Victoria who is obsessed with flamingos. So when it came to throwing a flamingo themed soiree she went all out but anyways i will let you see it for yourself...

The food was good but the flamingo cake was awesome... To eat Victoria had steamed brocoli, a flamingo fruit tray, Chicken Pasta (Which is pictured above and tasted way better than it looked) and a assortment of drinks which i chose the tropical pink lemonade.

Her decor was so cute... she had flamingo everything... Flamingo napkin holders, flamingo toothpicks, flamingo straws, flamingo pictures, flamingo beads and pink flamingo inspired flowers. Needless to say there was plenty flamingos to go around.

In order for me to get in the flamingo swing of things I went for the bohemian flamingo look with pink eyeshadow and a diamond incrusted flamingo pin (Okay so it was faux diamonds). All in all I cant wait until our 2nd annual Flamingo Dinner hopefully coming soon :)

Taken a Pause for a Nerd Moment...

Well I just heard some amazing news in the sim world, well the Sim team just released a statement regarding there now June 2nd release which actually has me a little happy that they pushed the release date 4 months...

Hi everyone,
We’ve heard many questions and concerns from our community regarding yesterday’s announcement and wanted to pass along this message from the game team -

One thing we want to clarify and are very excited about is that the game will be shipping on both Mac & PC on June 2nd. Both will be on the same disc which can be used for either platform.

The game is coming together really well and we are looking forward to the upcoming months and using this time to make the gameplay the best experience to date from The Sims.

Well this news is especially exciting for me because i have going back and forth with my friend wayne wether to get the game on my MacBook or My HP and now I can run them on both.... This is simply just elating news for me and yes im a nerd, and no i didnt actually need to blog about this .. but who cares I run this here at umbrella dreams and I can blog about whatever I want! Anyways I have to go meet Wen-Wen my calculus tutor so good day to All!!!

I fought the Weight, and the Weight won!

Well as some may know i started my diet last week, and so far it has been going terribly wrong.... During the day I have been doing a great job picking multi grain wheat bread over white and picking brown rice instead of white rice. But at night i get this unbelievable craving for crap food and i pigggggg out!

Here is an example of what I ate Tuesday:

• 9:30am - 1 sausage patty
• 2:00pm - Wheat Ham Sandwich and Baked Lays
• 7:00pm - Brown Rice, Broccoli, Carrot and Shrimp stir fry
• 3 Liters of Water/Crystal Lite 

and this is where trouble began...

• 10:00pm - 2 Cheese gordita crunchs and cinnamon twist
• 12:30am - Checker burger and Large fry

And i don't know why i ate this... I wasn't really even that hungry, and if i was hungry i could of had a banana. I'm trying to avoid the "cheating" way of losing weight which is surgery but it gets harder and harder to resist when you spent most of your life eating fast food... I hear people talk about there weight lost stories and what triggered them to lose weight, and a lot of their stories happened to me but yet it didn't trigger me to get the ball rolling in my court. I'm trying to lose 80 lbs in 6 months so i don't look like shammoo at the water park for my family reunion but for some reason its not clicking that ever fry i shove down my mouth is a pound further from my goal. I don't know but something has to give, and i cant let it be my life, it has to be this weight and it has to start now.. So basically I'm blogging about this not for people to read and judge or feel sympathetic or apathetic for me .. but to declare to myself what has been happening cant continue and the past is the past and right now starts a new hour of the rest of my life. Anyways I just had to get this off my heart and into another form. Ta-Ta for now.. I have to get some rest for the first round of the racquetball tournament tomorrow...
